Chapter 11
Great Confusion

I woke up this morning, finding a bandage on my cheek. Sally, of all the things you would do, this was the least expected! I grabbed the Excalibur, and headed off towards the grand square. The army was waiting for my command, and the next battle should be in Sebalta if everything goes nicely. When I arrived, everyone showed up in perfect condition. I was surprised that Sally didn’t bother hurting any of them.
When I began commanding the armies I shouted, “Blaidian and Lesidian Armies! There have been a few… incidents the past few days. I’m not sure on how to explain this to all of you, but…”
Kyosuke blurted, “Your ‘Queen’ Sally has left the region, and now she’s probably trying to work for the Xapear Army!” This caused an uproar, and everyone shouted out loud, cursing Sally for what she had done.
I whispered to Kyosuke, “Nice one…” He started to look away, pretending I didn’t say that.
I healer interrupted the shouting and cried, “Don’t you all get it! If she truly abandoned us, why are we still standing here!? And when she injured us, why did she heal us?!” The whole army became shrouded with confusion when the healer said that.
I continued, “As I was saying… Our next attack is going to be Sebalta, and we shall free it from Xapear rule!” All the soldiers cheered, despite what happened last night. The army disbanded, preparing to go to Sebalta tomorrow in the morning. I let out a sigh, wishing Sally were here.
I finally found Jenna and asked, “Did I miss much last night while I was unconscious?”
She giggled, “Well, you missed seeing all the soldiers staring at you by how you got beaten up by a girl!” She laughed so much and started to actually find myself agitated.
I sighed, “Can you please be serious?”
“I am being serious!” She laughed a bit more and I couldn’t handle it anymore.
“What’s the matter with you? And did you even try convincing Sally to come back?”
“Sheesh, nothing’s wrong with me, and besides, even if I tried convincing Sally, she still wouldn’t come back.”
I retorted, “You read her heart! Tell me why she left us?!”
She said depressingly, “I’m… sorry… I can’t tell you… it’s a… secret…”
“Come on, I won’t tell anyone.”
“I’m sorry; I’m not going to risk anything at all. Especially break a promise…”
I complained, “At least tell me! I’m your boyfriend and you’re picking my sister over me!”
“Isaac, shut up! Now you’re taking advantage of our relationship!” She looked really upset now. I still kept asking her though, because if she didn’t tell me why Sally left, I would never know why.
“I’m sorry… now can you please tell me?” She immediately slapped me, and I looked at her in a disappointed way. I asked, “What was that for? And can’t you just tell me why she left? I need to know, especially since I’m her brother!”
She cried, “I won’t tell you why she left… I promised I wouldn’t tell… And I slapped you because you’re being a jerk now!”
“Just break the promise!” She slapped me harder than before.
“That’s it… We’re through Isaac…” Tears were coming down her face. I started to feel teary now, and guilty.
I said softly, “Please… don’t say that…”
She screeched, “Go away! You aren’t the same person anymore… You’re not the person I used to love…” She walked away from me, and I knew it was pointless to follow her. What’s happening to me…? Now… I’m not sure of anything anymore… my heart tells me to follow Sally to Xapear… But my mind is telling me to fight for these lands freedom… I don’t care anymore… I lost my sister and my friendship with Jenna… I smashed my head into a wall, not caring about the blood that came down.
The next morning, I saw both armies were ready to leave, and I saw an expression of sadness on all their faces. I asked to Kyosuke, “Did something happen?”
He said painfully, “Yes… Jenna left off to Xapear… The Excalibur Knights have no meaning now in this war…”
“So… We still have a chance… right?” Grieve was written all over his face.
He said painfully, “I’m… not sure anymore… Sally and Jenna could have joined Xapear… or they are in hiding right now… Probably…” He paused lost in his thoughts, finding an answer. He added, “Even if they don’t join Xapear in this war, our army’s morale has been seriously injured… I’m not sure they can keep on going, knowing if they die… They can’t protect their family…”
My mind was finally clear, and I knew what had to be done. I shouted, “Blaidian, and Lesidian armies, please allow me to say one last thing! I dismiss you all from this war, and if you still wish to fight in it, I can’t be your leader! I know that I can’t fight off the Xapearion on my own, but I only wish to see my father one last time… I don’t want to kill anyone anymore, and I don’t care if I get killed in doing so… There’s still hope for this world! It will be accomplished once King Xapear gets killed! That’s all I ask for… Goodbye everyone… My journey will never be the same… But I will end this war!” I heard a few cheers in the crowd, but I knew they were disappointed in me. I walked off the stage, and Kyosuke placed his hand on me.
He said, “Don’t worry, I’ll follow you on this new journey, and I still believe we have a chance of winning.” April ran towards me and grabbed my arm. She seemed content that she found me.
She cried, “I’m glad you’re still here! I don’t want you to leave all alone like Jenna and Sally… It’s painful to be all alone… No matter how hard the road ahead of you is, I’m coming as well!”
I answered, “Thank you… both of you…” I looked at the horizon, seeing the sunrise, which reminded me of Jenna. I’ll find you again… But like my old self… My innocent self… I never want to be warlike, like Alex… No… Like King Xapear… A tear came down my eye, and I started to wonder why I felt no hatred towards Alex.
Kyosuke shouted, “Come on! Are you really that slow? April and me are already a mile ahead of you!” I let out a smile, a smile of freedom and hope in my face for once after I became an Excalibur Knight. I looked at the palace, knowing my armor was in there.
I shouted back, “Hold on, let me get a few things out of my room, and don’t worry, I’ll catch up to you guys!” Kyosuke and April started walking past the horizon, and I ran back to my room in the palace. I started gathering my armor, placing it all in a bag which hung around my back. I also grabbed a picture that mattered to me the most. It had the whole family in the picture, and it was taken about five years ago, when I was only nine years old. Jenna was in the picture, standing on my left, and more importantly, I saw Alex, standing at my right. I started to feel a brotherly love towards him, despite the cruel events in the past. I didn’t know why I felt this way, but I packed the picture in the bag of armor I carried.
“Do you actually think we would let you leave this place in our time of need?” I looked behind me, finding a squadron of soldiers. King Matthew was their leader unexpectedly. I knew all the floors below would be crawling with even more, but I knew what they had in mind.
“Yes, but I have to follow my heart, just like Sally did…”
“So you’re going to join Xapear’s side to exterminate us after you saved us?!”
“No… But I know she didn’t join Xapear… Neither has Jenna… I told you all that you can live peacefully with your families again…”
“Apparently, we love the taste of war…” King Matthew held a lance in his hands. I knew he wasn’t experienced with one since he never cared about his country, or joined any battle for that matter. He threw it right at me, and I dodged it quickly enough. I went straight through the wall, and I never forgot how powerful he truly was. All the soldiers started charging at me, trying to bind me to this army for good.
Without a moment’s thought of consideration, I gambled, “One false move, and… I’ll jump out through this window!”
King Matthew retorted, “Do you think we are all that stupid?”
“No… I don’t…” I fell backwards, ignoring the glass that prickled my skin while it broke. I felt a weird sensation in my body, a sensation of freedom. I closed my eyes, and I knew my life ended here. I lived a good life, but if only I could say goodbye to everyone before I died. I opened my eyes, seeing myself falling at a tremendous speed. No… This isn’t how it’s going to END! I unsheathed the Excalibur, and I pierced it right through the outer walls. I felt sparks flying all over my face, and I focused only on bracing my impact.
I crashed on the ground with a loud thud, as if something had just exploded. I found myself in a giant crater, and I tried getting back to my feet. They didn’t respond, and I knew they were both broken, along with my left arm. All I could do was look at the Excalibur in my sword arm, and I started letting out tears, knowing I had failed. I can’t let them take me back… Matthew will definitely cast a curse on me, and I’ll have to hurt everyone, including my family and friends…
Without hesitation, I got a better grip on the Excalibur, readying my final stab. Right when the tip of my blade almost pierced through me, a hand grabbed my arm. Kaito! He chuckled, “That was a bit too close there!” He had started to become serious and continued, “Let me carry you to April and Kyosuke, I know where they are. I even have the bag of armor you dropped on your way down. Also… by chance is this yours?” He showed me the picture I packed in the bag, and I nodded. He carried me on his back, and I started to fall asleep, knowing I hadn’t failed everyone.
I started to hear voices, and they had a conversation. “Wake up! Please, stay with us!”
“April, calm down, he’s alright. I’d say he’ll be better than ever tomorrow morning.”
“Sheesh, girls and their overreactions…” I started to drift away from reality, and I began to go into a dreaming state.

I walked on to a beach with many soothing things. The horizon glazed the ocean with beauty, the waves splashed ever so gently into the beach, and the sand felt as soft as feathers. I was for once calm in my life. When I looked around the beach more, I saw many things. I saw death on one side, and I saw hope on the other. I saw everything I wanted on the side of hope, but I didn’t see Jenna or Sally in it. Yet, in the death half, I saw two figures, and I didn’t care what I saw in the side of hope. I ran towards the two figures, and the beach sand started to blacken, and the ocean itself tainted in black.
I finally tired out, and I sat down for a bit. I looked at the two figures in the distance, and now I saw a third figure in the shadows. I cried, “Jenna! Sally! Are you there!?” I sprinted forward in hopes to find more about the figures, and I started to let out tears of joy when I started seeing the three silhouettes in color. They truly were Jenna and Sally, but the third person puzzled me. It was Alex…
He gave a look at me, and Jenna and Sally started to cry, but it was out of sadness. Alex said sternly, “Why did you come to this half? Shouldn’t you be lollygagging in your hopes and dreams?”
I replied, “All of you are my hopes and dreams… I came looking for all of you… even you Alex…”
“Why?”
“I’m not sure… I know you still want to kill me, but… it’s like… I can sense a kindness… in your heart…” He came closer to me, and he unsheathed his sword.
“Are you still sure about?” I dropped my sword right in front of him. He looked at me, and started to continue, “This just makes my job easier.”
I started to cry, and I said, “Just kill me… I’m the one who deserves to die… I’ve hurt so many people… And I let my obsession of finding out why Sally left get the better of me… I lost Jenna in doing so…” Jenna and Sally pretended to not notice. I could tell the hated me.
He started crushing my left arm with his hand, and he glared, “Pick up your sword! If you truly want to die, then at least do it in a duel!” A few tears came down his eyes, and I grabbed my sword on the ground. “Don’t hold back…” He let go of my arm, and I began to get into my fighting stance. I thought, No holding back… Our bodies started to glow with power. Our armor had started to form around us. I stared at Alex, wishing there was another way we could do this.
Alex charged in for the first blow and I tried parrying his blow. The edge of his blade went into my skin, and it hissed in there. I let out a cry of agony and I pushed Alex away from me. He stared at the blood that dripped down off my right shoulder. I asked, “Is this all happening in real life?”
He hissed, “The time for questions has passed!” He immediately attempted a stab towards my torso, but I jumped into the air. I went directly towards Alex’s back and I landed a few stabs on him. I broke off many pieces of armor on his back, and I landed one good slash on him. When I immediately tried ending this with one lethal stab, he turned around quickly, and grabbed my blade with his bare hands. He readied a powerful slash and I struggled to get my blade out of his hands.
It was too late. His giant blade when hurtling through the air, and when it hit my armor, it pierced right through it. The blade dug halfway into my shoulder, and I started to let out many tears of pain. I saw a smile form in Alex’s face. I said, “This is not over… It’s never going to end like this…” I immediately pulled my blade out of his hand, and I disarmed him from his blade. Without much thought, I grabbed the Dark Excalibur right out of his hands, and I held both blades now.
“Do you really think you can wield the Dark Excalibur? It will only hurt your chances due to its pickiness…” The blade started to burn my left hand, and with my shoulder severely injured, I immediately placed the Dark Excalibur in my right hand, while my blade was held in my left. I dashed in for the kill, and the pain in my body had only gotten worse.
I slashed away with the dual blades, and I pierced through Alex’s armor, and the blades sank right into his skin. He stood there, just watching at me in an amazed way. He exclaimed, “Not bad! I thought you wouldn’t hold my blade any longer than a few seconds! I guess I was dead wrong though…” I grabbed a blade that lied on the ground and I knew he was going to actually defend himself this time. Alex’s Excalibur weighed me down, so I couldn’t go as fast as I use to. I leaped to the side, and I ran towards Alex. He parried all the blows I sent to him, and knowing I couldn’t hold out much longer, I used enhancement magic. My power was so overwhelming, I broke the sword Alex used and I knocked on to the ground.
He lay on his back, only smiling at how I defeated him. I dropped the Dark Excalibur, and I gripped the Excalibur with my sword arm. Alex asked, “What are you going to do now?” Jenna and Sally watched me and they stayed quiet. They still had a look of hatred in their eyes, but now they were ready to unsheathe their Excalibur’s to kill me.
I cried, “What I’m going to do now is…” Jenna and Sally gripped their handle of their blades. “… kill myself… I shouldn’t keep doing this… I lost everything I considered dear to me!” I readied my stab, and all three of them had a look of horror in their eyes. I closed my eyes, and before I knew it, I fell to the ground. None of them cried at what they saw, and I informed, “I did this… because none of you can trust me, and… I can’t live with myself knowing all of you hate me…”My eyes began to close, and I coughed out blood…
“Isaac! Wake up!” I heard April shouting those words. I woke up, and she had a look of horror in her face. “What happened?!”
“What do you…,” Before I could finish the question, I felt the blood all over me. I saw myself covered with the remains of my armor, and I saw a blood puddle next to me. It was real… I started to attempt standing up, but I fell to the ground, coughing more blood. I saw the Excalibur in the area I left in my body. I pulled it out, and I didn’t let out any pain.
She cried, “Please! Don’t die! You’re the only family I have left!”
I replied, “Don’t worry… I’ll be fine…” I coughed out even more blood, and now Kyosuke and Kaito started to come in to help me. Kaito without questioning what happened started gathering all these herbs around the vicinity. Kyosuke started to get water from a nearby river. April stayed by my side, and she kept reassuring me that I would stay alive.
She asked desperately, “Who did this to you?”
“I did…” She looked at me in an awkward and mad way.
“Why did you attempt killing yourself!?”
“Because… two people who I cared for hate me…” She had a horrified look in her face.
“Please… no… It couldn’t have been…”
I let out a few tears and I cried, “Yes it was… It was truly… Sally and Jenna…”
A voice cried, “Do you really think that?” It sounded like Alex, but I was too weak to even look at him to make sure it was him.
April cried, “What are you doing here?! Haven’t you caused us enough pain?!”
He retorted, “I’m risking my life here! There’s a curse mark on me, and I can’t do much about it! I might end up dying all because of my stupidity when I was so young!” He started explaining the whole situation to both of us, and I finally knew what happened. Everything made sense now… but it was too late for me…
I heard more footsteps, and I heard Jenna and Sally off in the distance. I complied, “So now they care… Tell them… I said goodbye…” Alex stared at me in amazement. April joined him in the stare as well.
He asked softly, “But isn’t Jenna your girl…” Before he could finish that, I gave him a look of sadness.
I replied with pain in my heart, “I loved her… but because of my stupidity… I lost her… She isn’t my girlfriend… And when I stabbed myself… I saw no expression on either her or Sally’s face… I know I’m still alive… but now… my life has no true love in it…”
April said painfully, “But…”
I shouted, “You don’t get it! I looked up to both of them! I loved them down my heart! But after that dream, that battle, my sacrifice… they broke my heart…” Jenna and Sally were in seeing distance, and I began to look at the skies.
Jenna cried, “Isaac, it’s great to…”
I interrupted, “Goodbye…” I started to close my eyes, and I started to fade away, as if I were nothing more than a living shadow.
Sally screamed in sadness, “Why!? Please, stay with us!?”
I retorted, “Don’t you know the pain you have caused me!” Jenna looked at me with horror, and I started crying out of anger. “This is my last wish! That I could, just disappear! And that wish just came true!” I vanished into thin air…
I stood at the beach, and I looked at the beautiful horizon. I saw my reflection in the water, and I dropped the Excalibur into it. I cried, “Goodbye… Everyone…” I saw Jenna in the distance, and she started to cry at the sight of seeing me. I said, “It’s too late to save me…”
I let myself fall into the ocean, and I knew that the ocean was only an illusion… It merely was a pit of darkness. I kept falling, knowing there would be no end to it. I looked up one last time, and I saw no one there. I thought to myself, I knew you wouldn’t come…

Chapter 12
April’s Cry

I looked deep into space, and I only stared at the only thing that Isaac left behind, his blood. Jenna was asleep, in hopes to save Isaac from doing what she thought he would do. She finally woke up, and she cried. All of us cried, except for me. I had enough pain, but now this had to happen. Isaac gave away his life, because his heart was crushed by the people he cared about the most. In an instant, a tall man appeared right in front of us. King Xapear…
He laughed menacingly, “I see you did your share of the deal! I couldn’t believe you would actually keep your word…” I knew he was talking to Sally and Jenna. He continued, “I guess I’ll do my share now…” The curse mark started to disappear from Alex’s body, as well as the Dark Lord himself. He used a portal, I saw ash marks on the ground.
I cried, “This is why you two killed Isaac! You did it to just save Alex’s life! What about Isaac!? He was there for us all the time, while Alex has only been there… Never!”
Sally hesitatingly explained, “Actually… We were trying to save Alex, without killing Isaac… But we didn’t anticipate Isaac’s last moves… We lost control of the situation and now… We lost Isaac…”
I retaliated, “You mean… You gambled Isaac’s life in order to save Alex’s! You thought you could anticipate Isaac’s actions, thinking he was still under hatred and confusion. That’s how he lost you, Jenna…” I glared at her. “When he killed himself, he did it because not even his innocent self could get you both to understand how badly he felt.”
Jenna asked, “What do you mean? I didn’t sense any innocen…”
I interrupted, “Well he did! He even told me when he woke up that he tried to get both of you to understand how sorry he was! Look at what you did to him! You shattered is heart into nothing but pieces!”
“How could I have not sensed his heart’s true feelings…”
“Because, his heart is too pure for any of you…” She started to run at a distance from us, because she didn’t want anyone hear how sad she was.
Sally cried, “Look what you did April! Are you happy you made Jenna cry?!”
I retorted, “Are you happy for killing Isaac?” She looked at me with shocked silence. She never expected me to be so… retaliating. Isaac’s blood puddles started to dry up, and now nothing was left of him in this world.
Sally got so mad, that she started trying to attack me with her blade. I cried, “What?! Now you want to kill me?!” I pulled out my blade, and I completely forgot about my staff that lied right next to me. I didn’t care about using it at all in this fight.
I parried all of Sally’s attacks, and I started to notice cracks were forming on my blade. Sally attempted a blow so powerful, that it might have killed me. Luckily I both parried and dodged the blow, but my sword was broken.
Alex cried, “Sally stop! Haven’t you brought enough pain on her?!”
She snorted, “Hasn’t she caused us enough pain!?” She lunged her blade towards me, and now I forced myself into using my only means of defense. I casted a barrier spell around me, and I looked at my staff. I still didn’t care about it, but I remembered Isaac was the one who made it. I held the staff close to me, as if it was Isaac himself.
I whispered, “Thank you… For giving me hope…” My hand burned with heat, and before I knew it, it caught on fire. Sally finally broke through my last wall of defense, and she stared at what happened to me. The pain in my hand started to disappear, but the fire on it stayed. It started to form a blade, and I knew what the name of the blade was. It was the Excalibur… the same blade Isaac used. Thanks Isaac… But it’s not the same without you here… Please… Come back…
I gripped the Excalibur and without much of a decision, I stabbed Sally’s sword arm. She let out a cry of pain, and I didn’t care much about it. I said calmly, “Think before you act next time…” She let out tears knowing what she tried to do to me. We all started walking back to Kaito’s house.
Later that day, I looked at my hand, seeing if it changed when it started to burn. I saw a black marking, shaped like a heart, yet it had a few words in it. Those words were, ‘Believe in your heart’. Then, the marking started to blacken, as if darkness had come to the heart. I knew who’s heart it was… Isaac… I let out many tears, and I looked at the blade, noticing a note on the handle.
I started to read the note and it was written in Isaac’s handwriting. ‘April…You’re probably wondering where I am… I know it was painful by how you have to learn all of this… I know though, that you looked up to me… I’m sorry I let you down, and there is a way to get me back… I’m not dead, but… I’m lost in a world of darkness… I know you are going to save me from myself one day… The person who will help you is a boy who’s 11 right now. By the time your 14, I want you to look for this boy. He can find me, and I trust you with this note. I’ll tell you the boy’s name, but not now. Write your reply on the back of this. When you’re done, burn it in a fire. Thank you, for cheering me up in my moment of pain…’
I immediately flipped the note backwards, and I wrote two things on it. ‘Isaac, I’m going to save you from the darkness… and please… always remember this! I’ll always believe in my heart, if you believe in yours!’ I ran to the backyard of Kaito’s house, and nobody was nearby. I lit two pieces of firewood, and I threw the note in there. As soon as the note caught on fire, the flames exploded into the skies, and the note and firewood disintegrated.
“What just happened?!” It was Jenna, and I jumped when she scared me with such a quick question. Her eyes started to widen, and I couldn’t tell why she did it though. She came towards me, and she kneeled down to my height. She cried, “Is he… really… alive…? Please… don’t lie to me… I never wanted this to happen… I hate myself for agreeing with Sally’s… gamble… But I had to…”
I asked softly, as if I had forgiven her, “What do you mean? And… How did you know about…?”
“I have many secrets too… One of them is the ability to read hearts… I’ve only told Isaac, and Sally about this… Also, I agreed with Sally because… she was like an older sister to me… I couldn’t have just let her think… that I’m untrustworthy… I didn’t want to let her down…”
I started to feel faintish, and I whimpered, “I’m… sorry for having to accuse you like that earlier… It’s just… He was always the person I looked up to…”
She placed her hand in my hair, and continued, “I feel the exact same way you do… April… I want to say… that I was wrong in my decisions… and I want to… tell you that I trust you just as much as Sally.” I hugged her, and she started to cry. I cried with her, and I had to tell her one last thing.
I murmured, “He’s alive… He gave me a note… And it said I could bring him back…”
“Where is he?” She calmed down, and tried my best to speak clearly.
“He’s in a pit of darkness… I’m not sure where he is exactly… but I know he’s still alive…”
She held my hand, and added, “I’ll do whatever it takes to save him as well!” She started to smile at me, and I smiled back, knowing we had just made an oath.
I went to bed, and Kaito exclaimed, “You girls know the drill, and you know what that means!” I shook my head, while Jenna and Sally nodded theirs. Kaito chuckled, “Well, apparently, you have to sleep somewhere else sadly, because Kyosuke is… well, he’s going through changes… I don’t know what’s on his mind right now, but I have noticed he didn’t once talk to me about a book for once!” Jenna started giggling at that comment.
She added, “I bet these changes are happening because he’s finally started to become more… mature. I’m not sure how to say this but… He’s going through a lot right now…” Kaito looked at her with fixed eyes, and she looked back at him. She asked, “Is there something wrong with what I said?”
He said, “Why, nothing of course, but what makes you say that?”
“It’s a feeling I get when stuff like this happens… Other than Kyosuke going through changes, April’s going through changes as well!” She started to giggle at what she said, along with Sally.
I retorted, “Hey! What makes you think that!?”
Sally answered, “Well… If I have to be honest… You’re being more irritated than usual, you are starting to be brattier, and…”
Jenna interrupted, “That’s not even what I was going to say! I was going to say you are getting taller, you look prettier than ever, and I think someone…” Sally placed her hand on Jenna’s mouth, and she started to whisper things in her ear as if she was furious. They were both arguing now, and while they did, I tried getting Kaito’s attention.
I asked, “If it’s okay… I would like to sleep outside…”
He overreacted and said nervously, “Are you sure? It’s cold outside, and I don’t want you to get a cold.”
“I’ll be fine, so don’t worry.” He nodded and he allowed me to sleep outside.
I lived in a whole new world now, and I only wished Isaac was in it. I looked up towards the moon, and I knew what had to be done. I grabbed the Excalibur and a log. I slashed the log in half, and I started to attempt forming two wooden swords out of them. They looked exactly like the Excalibur, but in a different way. They weren’t as lethal or as big as the Excalibur, yet they had a design similar to it.
When I finished carving them out, I sheathed the Excalibur into the scabbard, and I started practicing with my two new training weapons. I used the second sword to give me an advantage in battle, and when I hit the tree on one side, I immediately went in for a killing blow with my second sword. Jenna came outside and said shockingly, “Wow! Not bad in making those swords! But… that means…”
I replied, “Ya… I’m going back into the fight… but not now…”
“I guess you need a teacher to help you then?”
I mumbled, “What do you mean?”
“You know… I think if you want to pull off using a sword to its fullest potential, you need to learn how to actually use it. You know how to use one in battle, but you don’t know how to use many of the major skills to wielding a sword. Like, you don’t know how to aim, or focus your power into the blade. She said with a tear coming down her face, “Yes… You two are like… the same person… You two have the same blood, and same heart… Besides, you two are the youngest out of your family!” I looked up to her and she smiled at me.
I replied, “Thank you… for giving me… hope…” She started to walk back inside, and we said our good nights. I lay on the grass, looking upwards towards the sky. I smiled and said, “I’ll find you again, Isaac. That’s a promise.” I started to fall asleep, and as my eyes started to close, I saw Isaac’s face in front of me, and I saw a smile on his face.
