| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]In effect since July, apparently. I only just found out about this Dx Now I gotta edit all of my created cards, but I guess it'll be less cluttered. | I couldn't help but laugh on a few of the new changes. Basically, what it means is that we're idiots. (Nah, kidding. Sort of?) Thought, the HERO change makes me laugh so much xD I can totally see someone emphasizing that change. "With Elemental HERO! Stratos, I can bring one HERO! card to my hand (or whatever the effect is, can't remember off the top of my head.)" But for some other thoughts, "Banish" makes sense, the "leaves the field" change also makes sense, "Piercing Battle Damage" is alright (I can see one of the idiots I mentioned above asking "What the fudge does piercing mean?" I pity thee, newer generation. I pity thee...) Erm...."Selected as target" to "Targeted" is basically a dumbed down change, and need I say more for the HERO! change? | I think the majority of the changes (especially the piercing one) is to make the game more simpler for kids and save space on the card text for more effects, maybe.
And yes, the HERO! change is weird... | I agree with the new changes and I like them. I ALWAYS checked online for the official rulings of new cards that come out. Now I won't have to do that as much. Plus Felix, I don't think they're saying we're idiots, there was plenty of times I got stuck and confused because the way a card effect was worded. | @Sky and Ori: I was being sarcastic on the idiot thing you know >_> (For the most part, cuz there are people who can be like that) But yeah, it's nice to have it simplified and make cards less wordier in effects now. (Question: What's the card that has the longest card effect wording that fills it up to the brink?) But I do like the changes, though, I can still see someone asking what the heck "Piercing" is unless they delve on it in future rule books (Probably will)
Newer joke! So....Now that there's a 'Banish' change....I can already see people saying corny things such as "I banish your monster...to hell!" and such. Maybe it's just me on that though? o.o
Edit: I don't know if it's the one, but after some research, seems like Toon Dark Magician Girl has the longest effect. Course, this isn't taking into account a lot of the newer cards, so...Who knows. []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> No matter what, I always end up coming back. How I am easily bored. | I think Thousand Eyes Restrict has the longest effect. []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> "Jesus promised to get rid of the wicked people, Odin promised to get rid of the ice giants. | I heard Thousand Eye Restrict was up there too, actually...Let's find out!
Thousand Eye Restrict As long as this card remains face-up on the field, other monsters cannot change their battle positions or attack. Select 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field, and equip it to this card (this effect can only be used once per turn, and you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card). The ATK and DEF of this card become the same amounts as the monster equipped to this card. If this card is destroyed as a result of battle, the equipped monster is destroyed instead.
Toon Dark Magician Girl This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned while "Toon World" is on your side of the field. You can Special Summon this monster from your hand, but Tributes are required for monsters Level 5 or more. When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, this card is also destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent directly. If a face-up Toon Monster is on your opponent's side of the field, you must select the Toon Monster as an attack target. This card gains 300 ATK for each "Dark Magician" or "Magician of Black Chaos" in either player's Graveyard.
Well...seems Toon Dark Magician Girl still stays strong on my book for longest effect text. o.o []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> No matter what, I always end up coming back. How I am easily bored. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Ah, guess I was wrong. Toon monsters are fricken scary if someone actually knew how the heck to use them. | All of them are considered special summons when toon world is on the field. You can bring them out extremely easily. If you combine them with other cards that either increase their swarm rate or need time to be summoned, you'd have a pretty scary deck. | Swarm decks suck >_> But on the bright side, if you survive the swarm, and counter it, the opponent's deck usually falls apart ^_^ []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> No matter what, I always end up coming back. | I saw a situation of double toon blue-eyes on the field with royal decree. That is not healthy for the opponent. *EDIT* There needs to be a toon blue-eyes Ultimate dragon []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> "Jesus promised to get rid of the wicked people, Odin promised to get rid of the ice giants. | My money's on Toon Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon having the longest known monster card name if it ever comes out. []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> No matter what, I always end up coming back. How I am easily bored. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Toon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon Fusion/ Effect- This card can only be special summoned by banishing 3 Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragons from the field or hand while Toon World is on the field. This card cannot attack the turn it is summoned. If Toon World is removed from the field, destroy this card. While Toon World is on the field, you can pay 500 life points to have this card attack directly. If this card would be removed from the field except by its own card effect, you can pay 1000 life points to special summon up to 3 Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragons from your Banished Zone ignoring their summoning conditions. If a Dark Magician, Elemental Hero Neos, or Stardust Dragon is summoned while this card is on the field, it is automatically the Battle Phase and both monsters conduct battle. Damage Calculation is applied no matter what- no card effect, other then this card's, can interfere or do anything while this effect is in motion. The owner of the destroyed monster destroyed due to the battle of the previous effect will be dealt an additional 4500 life point damage as punishment for challenging Toon Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. ATK 4500/ DEF 3200 []zzzzzz[]::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::> "Jesus promised to get rid of the wicked people, Odin promised to get rid of the ice giants. | I thought it was a legit card until I read the last parts of the effect. xD Would be epic if it does turn out to be like that.
